MENTAL HEALTH CARE
Mental Health Care That Feels Thoughtful and Personalized
If you have been managing symptoms without ever really understanding them, this is where that changes. I take the time to figure out what is actually going on and build a plan around that.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
When Treatment Has Never Felt Quite Right
Maybe you have tried medication before and it helped a little, or not at all, or stopped working. Maybe you have seen provider after provider and still do not feel like anyone has really understood what is going on. Maybe you have a diagnosis but the treatment has never felt like the right fit.
You are not looking for someone to hand you a prescription and send you on your way. You are looking for someone who will actually listen, ask the right questions, and help you understand what is driving how you feel so the plan we build actually works.
Mental Health Evaluation — New Patients
You deserve a first appointment that actually feels like a first appointment. Not a rushed intake, not a checklist, but a real conversation about your symptoms, your history, and what has and has not worked before.
In your initial 60-minute telehealth evaluation, I take the time to understand the full picture. Your mental health, your physical health, your lifestyle, and how it all connects. From there, you leave with a clear diagnosis, a real explanation, and a treatment plan that is built around you.
This appointment is right for you if:
You are a new patient in New Jersey or Ohio seeking mental health support
You have been struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood concerns, or symptoms you cannot quite name
You have seen other providers and still do not feel like you have real answers
You are ready for care that takes the time to actually understand you
What is included:
Comprehensive mental health and history assessment
Diagnosis and clinical explanation in plain language
Personalized treatment plan which may include medication, lab recommendations, lifestyle support, or referrals to collaborative providers
Option to integrate lab work if underlying physical factors may be contributing
Duration:
60 minutes via telehealth
Ages seen:
6 and older
Mental Health Follow-Up — Established Patients
Good care does not stop at the first appointment. As an established patient, your follow-up visits are where we check in on how you are feeling, assess how your treatment is working, and make any adjustments that will help you continue moving forward.
This is not a quick medication refill. It is an ongoing partnership that evolves as your needs do.
What is included:
Medication management and treatment adjustments as needed
Symptom check-ins and progress review
Supportive care and continued clinical guidance
Integration of lifestyle updates and lab review when relevant
Duration:
30 minutes via telehealth
Integrative Psychiatry Evaluation
For patients who want to go deeper. If you have been through traditional psychiatric care and still feel like something is being missed, this evaluation is designed to find it.
In addition to a comprehensive mental health assessment, we look at the physical and biological factors that are often overlooked. Hormones, nutrient levels, metabolic health, and more. This is whole-person care in the truest sense, and it is where many patients finally start to get real answers.
This appointment is right for you if:
You feel like traditional care has only addressed part of the problem
You want to understand how your physical health may be affecting your mental health
You have symptoms that do not fit neatly into one category and you want someone to look at all of it together
You are ready for a more comprehensive, root-cause approach
What is included:
Full mental health and history assessment
Targeted lab recommendations including hormones, nutrients, and metabolic markers
Personalized treatment plan that addresses underlying contributors, not just symptoms
Collaboration with other clinicians involved in your care
Duration:
60 minutes via telehealth

Postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety
Mood disorders including bipolar disorder
Burnout and chronic stress

If you are not sure whether what you are experiencing falls into one of these categories, that is okay. Not every experience fits neatly into a diagnosis. You are always welcome to reach out with questions.
QUESTIONS
What patients ask most
-
I see patients dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, postpartum mood concerns, burnout, mood disorders, PTSD, panic disorder, OCD, and more. If you are not sure whether your symptoms fit, reach out. That is exactly what the evaluation is for.
-
Completely. Medication is one tool, not the only one. Some patients benefit from it enormously. Others do better with a different approach. My job is to figure out what actually makes sense for you and to be honest with you about that, even if the answer is not a prescription.
-
My focus is psychiatric evaluation and medication management rather than ongoing therapy. That said, I take a supportive, whole-person approach to every appointment. This is never just a refill visit. If therapy would be beneficial, I am happy to collaborate with or refer you to a therapist who is the right fit.
-
A psychiatric nurse practitioner is a licensed medical provider who can diagnose mental health conditions, order lab work, and prescribe and manage medication. A therapist provides therapy but cannot prescribe. Many patients benefit from working with both, and I am always happy to collaborate with your existing care team.
-
Both psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners can diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe medication, and provide ongoing psychiatric care. The primary difference is in training: psychiatrists complete medical school followed by a psychiatric residency, while psychiatric nurse practitioners complete nursing school and an advanced graduate program with clinical training in psychiatry. In practice, the scope of care is very similar, and many patients find that working with a PMHNP feels more collaborative and accessible.
-
Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. We're here to guide the process, bring ideas to the table, and keep things moving.
